Gurugram, also known as Gurgaon, is a city in the northern Indian state of Haryana. It is situated near the Delhi–Haryana border, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of the national capital New Delhi and 268 km (167 mi) south of Chandigarh, the state capital.

Gurugram is a major financial and IT hub in India. It is a rapidly growing city. It has a modern infrastructure and a vibrant nightlife. The city is also home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, including the Sheetla Mata Temple and the Sultanpur National Park.
